I haven't posted for a while so I decided that it's time to do so.

I was inspired by the lovely Colors in this challenge #136 found here:
at Time Out

I have been hoarding the perfect patterned paper with the colors of teal/turquoise, red, and yellow.

I used a Gina K Designs stamp (On My Mind & In My Heart). The stems on these flowers are not very tall, so I first stamped the lower part of the image below the space for the sentiment and then stamped again above the space for the sentiment. Then added the sentiment strip over that space.
Other items used -  Labels 8 Nestability, Copics, Nuvo Aqua Shimmer on flowers and black Nuvo drops, tiny butterfly punch, and retired SU cardstock and dsp. Sentiment is an old wood mounted SU stamp.

I am also entering this card in the Dare 2 B Artsy - May challenge found here:
Dare to B Artsy - May challenge about Flowers

And The Little Red Wagon challenge - #498 Flower Frenzy found here:

The reason I haven't had the time to stamp for a while is because of this:
Little Reuben James.....a sheltie puppy in training.....

Thanks for looking in!

Blowing Bubbles

Once again I discovered 2 more challenge blogs!

The Time Out Challenge found here: http://timeoutchallenges.blogspot.com/2019/04/challenge-134.html

The theme for challenge #134 is to be "Playful".

And at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies found here: http://2craftycrittercrazies.blogspot.com/

This challenge each month is always "anything goes" and every submission must include a "critter" of some kind. Okay, these rules definitely work for me. This month challenge is #26.

For both of these challenges, I made a happy chick card:

Sometimes, I don't finish the inside of a card until I send it. But I do love that little chick with his back side showing.....
Supplies used: Bubble Chicks from Stamping Bella and Whole Lotta Happy from WPlus9, Copic markers, stitched frame die from My Favorite Things, ribbon, Nuvo crystal drops and aqua shimmer pen.

As a child, I enjoyed blowing bubbles, and now I enjoy watching young 'uns doing the same. Even our puppies tried to jump into the air to catch 'em.
