While working on making Christmas cards, I thought I would share at the Color Hues challenge #53 with the colors of scarlet and green. I just realized that this challenge ends in the morning, so here is my card:

I used a poinsettia image that has been in my stash for many years which was cut out and layered.  It was colored with copics, Nuvo aqua shimmer applied, dsp, white and artichoke c/s, and artichoke taffeta ribbon. TFL!

Was a beautiful Fall day today, so I made a card for my daughter....

and for the Just Us Girls challenge #651 which is a photo challenge:

My card:

The inside:

I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder, nestabilities,  Lawn Fawn stitched leaves, and cardstock colors of crumb cake, riding hood red, mustard, and a rustic cream, string, and a few gems.

Hope your day was as beautiful as mine...

Just a fun card that I have been wanting to make for a long time - ever since I bought a stamp set that only has images of different faces that you can stamp on whatever you want.

I had the large lined paper background stamp forever, pencil and pen stamp set, and hole punch die and just had to put it all together:

The pen n pencil were colored with pencils, cut out and layered. Then I cut out and layered the eyes which had crystal effects added. They look so happy and make me smile. Guess they know it is time to go back to school....

The upper corner seemed empty, so I found a small doo-dad like paper clip and punched a heart and added it there. The dsp and c/s is retired Marina Mist from SU.

I am sharing this with:

Just Us Girls challenge #647 - photo week of Back to School items and colors;

Thanks for much for looking in!

I am very tired of the summer heat, and while I suppose I should be looking to make  Autumn cards, I am in the mood for CHRISTMAS cards. My favorite cards to make.

So here is my favorite gnome who likes to dance (from Spellbinders) :

The inside:

His legs move freely back and forth and he just makes you smile when you see him.....

I am sharing this card in several challenges:

Hello there! It has been a very long time since I posted something, so when I saw the challenge at The Paper Players, I was encouraged to play.  I have quite a lot of birds and bee stamps.....

So I made a BEE HAPPY card:

I have always loved these bees from There She Goes.  They were colored with Copics and Nuvo glitter gloss applied to the wings and flowers. The honeycomb die is by Tim Holtz. The images were cut out with a scan-n-cut. The extra pieces will go on the inside....

Just a card using many old sewing stamps for a lady who loves to sew.

The sewing machine, dress form, scissors, needle and pin were all heat embossed.

I am sharing this card with one of the sketches from Sunday Stamps - SSC252 - getting blocked

and with the WaterCooler Wednesday Challenge - WWC311- All Things Feminine
