Just a chillaxing little mouse:

I need a lady's retirement card, so this just might work.
I used a Penny Black stamp which was colored with Prismacolor pencils to sorta match some old patterned paper. Put some aqua shimmer on the flowers on the umbrella that really doesn't show up in this pic.

I am sharing this with - Just Add Ink #503 - pencils and patterned paper

In all of my years of stamping, I have never "splatted" on a card. So I was definitely challenged when I saw this sketch yesterday:

So, I pondered for a day, and this is what I ended up with:
To make that "splat" in the center,  I wadded up a piece of paper and smooshed it onto a saffron yellow ink pad and then pounced it many times onto the cardstock. The dandelion stamps are old ones from Great Impressions. I did take all of 2 seconds and put some crystal glaze on that tiny ladybug
Making this card was a good thing, 'cause I would do this sketch again, and now I have a get well card done before I really need it.

Hello there,

I just made a birthday card for a dog.
A special Sheltie dog that does agility with his human mom.
His human dad passed away last year, so I knew that this card would surprise his "mom" and give her a much needed smile.....

This stamp set is retired from My Favorite Things - Best in Show
The images were colored with Prismacolor pencils and cut out with a Scan-N-Cut.

Sometimes a simple little card is good.....

I am sharing this with : Krafty Chicks Challenge #504 - All Occasions

I thought that a special dogs birthday is a good occasion.

We have had a LOT of April showers here and going to get even more this weekend....

But this bunny and his little frog friend don't seem to mind....

This sweet, older House Mouse stamp was colored with Prismacolor pencils and Stickles added to the raindrops and I layered the umbrella....
