A happy day to get a start on this year's Christmas cards.
We have quite a few friends with doggies in their families so that is where I began.

I am happy to join My Favorite Things for this weeks sketch challenge, which happens to be number 500. WOW! I was inspired by this sketch and here is the link to it:   https://mftstamps.com/blogs/news/wsc500

Here is that sketch:

Here is my Christmas card:

The image is from the MFT stamp set Happy Pawlidays and the sentiment is from Deck the Howls (retired). The dog was colored with polychromos pencils, cut out and layered and glitter put on the white of the hat. I put him on the left side instead of the right. I was going to add those images you see below the card, but I liked the card just the way it was, so I will put them on the inside of the card....I do like this sketch and will definitely use it again. Thanks to My Favorite Things! And thanks for looking in.....PaddySue

I have just a little gray hare today.....

Saw a sketch challenge that I thought - no way can I think that one through.

Here is that sketch at : Freshly Made Sketches

I also saw the challenge #559 at : Little Red Wagon - Spots or Stripes
So,
Anyway, a challenge is just that, and here is what I came up with:

Was happy to use a super cute stamp set from Reverse Confetti called Crafty Critters. The sweet bunny with the polka-dot dress was colored with Faber-Castell pencils. She was having a good hair day (correction, a good hare day), so I put a flower by her ear. I cut out those small images by hand - and I lost those images several times, and spent time trying to find them and actually had to re-do a few of them. I almost gave up.....One of those days.....good grief ....Also used the quilted hearts embossing folder from Sugar Pea with neat tiny dots and hearts on it and hexagon dies from I don't remember. That's it! THANKS for looking in.....PaddySue

Yay - I needed a nice sketch to get my mojo going again. I have been ignoring just too many challenges lately and I am afraid I just might forget why I have all of these stamps...

Here is the sketch that caught my eye this week at: Freshly Made Sketches

I needed a card for my young grandson who thinks that he really is one hot dude. He lives in Arizona and he has a little chihuahua.  So this is what I came up with:

I used a stamp set from Hero Arts and Faber-Castell pencils. Nice and easy....just what I needed....I never make square cards, and because of that, I almost did not make this one. But now I am glad I did, 'cause now I think that this is kinda cute....It is 5 inches square.
Thanks for looking......
