Just a chillaxing little mouse:

I need a lady's retirement card, so this just might work.
I used a Penny Black stamp which was colored with Prismacolor pencils to sorta match some old patterned paper. Put some aqua shimmer on the flowers on the umbrella that really doesn't show up in this pic.

I am sharing this with - Just Add Ink #503 - pencils and patterned paper

And with - CAS Colors and Sketches #368

Thanks for looking in....

Have Faith, Hope, and most of all - LOVE,

Today's card:

I used a Penny Black stamp set (Blooming Tags) and an old sentiment from my stash. The tag was colored with Copics. Other items used: Concord, Green Galore, Vanilla, and black cardstocks, a stitched tag die, old button, and an old Cuttlebug embossing folder. That's it...Thanks for looking in.

I'm sharing this with several challenges:

Time-Out Challenge 147 - Inspired by Words

which had several encouraging words....

And the Penny Black Saturday challenge - anything goes with the option of "tags".

Old stamp - New Challenges

I discovered 2 new (to me) challenges....which gave me a reason to use up some long neglected stash.
Retro Rubber and The Card Concept
The picture with the busy wallpaper and dishware reminded me of this old SU designer paper of long ago and an old wood mounted stamp from Penny Black. I have removed the wood and cling mounted it so I do not know how old it is....It is called Letters & Flowers. My cards:

Actually, I am in the process of making more of these so as to FINALLY use up this designer paper once and for all. Good grief! Other items used are a Martha Stewart butterfly punch, tiny pearls,  Cuttlebug and Nestability dies, jute ribbon, blues, kraft, and vanilla cardstocks, dk. gray and kraft ink pads, blue pencil, and a Coke Zero  ;^) . Thanks for looking in...... A Sketch Challenge

I have been working on this challenge off and on for 5 days.. Really had me stumped. I finally decided to just do it.

Here is the sketch #316 from CAS(E) This Sketch

Here is my card:

For my image, I chose this floating dog with his balloon. I thought that he needed a hillside (which I did turn that panel the opposite way, according to the sketch). Well, then I had to add some Spring flowers. ;^). I didn't know what to do with the sentiment, so I put the Yappy Birthday in the clouds.

The dog image is from Penny Black (Buddy & Duck), He was cut out with a Scan-n-Cut, colored with pencils, and Nuvo crystal glaze was put on the balloon.

This card is going to a dog....yes, a real dog, whose human mom is going through a rough time right now, and this card will make her smile. It is from my dog to her dog.

That's all for today

Have a Yappy Day!

For this week's Ways To Use it Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers , is to use brads or eyelets!
What?! Over the years, I have collected a thousand of 'em. For this card, I used ONE brad. Now I have 999 of them left. I almost purged them a few months ago, but they were too pretty to let go.....
I sent this card to a favorite person...

I used older Penny Black stamps, colored with Prismacolor pencils, and paper-pieced the snail.
The envelope was stamped with Happy Mail stamps, from Pretty Pink Posh.
That's it for today.
Thanks for looking in....

May your basket always be full of pretty papers!
