For a long time, I have admired what other stampers do with stencils. So I purchased a few stencils a loooooong time ago ........ and stored them .......to try someday.
For some reason, stencils have intimidated me. But I thought that it was time to "dig" one out and discovered how much fun it can be to blend colors so easily!
Here is what I created:

I used the Tim Holtz burlap stencil, a Make Art station, make-up brushes, and distress inks. Added  some die cuts and I was pretty happy with this challenge.  Now, I need to "dig" out some more stencils that I have been "saving".
The cardstock colors are Durango, Suede, Olive, and Neenah white.

I am sharing this with Seize the Birthday #181-with Topping option to use a Stencil

Thanks for looking in today!
